“Nonsense Woman”
I’ve been wanting to share my art more often, so here’s a piece from the Into the Diary class at Vancouver Island School of Art (highly recommend them). It was inspired by this quote:
“What makes sense to me is to make nonsense to everyone else.”
— Alice Shyy (artist)
This piece is a small reclamation of all the times I’ve felt dismissed, judged, or misunderstood for making choices that didn’t align with societal norms or cultural expectations… like leading with intuition instead of logic, choosing rest over hustle, or going for a bike ride instead of crossing off another task.
Medium: ballpoint pen
