Some of the many graphics I’ve designed for social media, blogs, newsletters, and more, over the years.
Content Strategy:
Managing a Virtual Team: Advice From Leading Remote Companies
We Work Remotely (WWR) • July 2019
Goal:
Engage tech employers and hiring managers with content that builds brand trust and positions WWR as a leader in the remote hiring space.
At the time, WWR’s blog primarily served job seekers. To deepen our relationship with employers, we created content that highlighted their voices and expertise, strengthening community ties and increasing brand stickiness.
My role:
Marketing Manager, Content Strategist, Writer, Designer
Deliverables:
Blog Post · Platform-Specific Visuals (Instagram Carousel, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook) · Newsletter
I introduced additional tones to WWR’s minimal brand palette - still within brand guidelines - to inject more personality, vibrancy, and a modern edge.
Because this piece celebrated insights from leading remote companies, I designed overlapping shapes across the carousel frames to create a sense of connection and alignment between contributors as users swiped through.
Outcomes:
Featured companies re-shared the content across their networks
The campaign outperformed other posts that week, with 4x the average shares
Content Series: Day in the Life of a Remote Company
We Work Remotely • 2019-2021
Goal:
Strengthen relationships with remote-first companies by showcasing their unique team cultures and daily rhythms, while inspiring job seekers with real-world examples of thriving remote workplaces.
As part of a broader initiative to shift WWR’s content toward employer engagement, I created and launched the Day in the Life of a Remote Company series: a recurring editorial feature spotlighting how different companies structure their remote workdays. Each post offered an inside look at team rituals, tools, schedules, and culture, humanizing the companies behind the job posts.
My Role:
Content Strategy · Outreach & Interviews · Editorial Direction · Blog Production • Design
Outcomes:
Elevated WWR’s positioning as a community-driven platform for both job seekers and employers
Built stronger relationships with featured companies, many of whom became repeat contributors

Day in the Life of a Remote Worker
A companion series that highlights individual remote professionals, offering a personal lens into remote life across roles, industries, and time zones.
A comprehensive guide I created to help job seekers navigate the nuances of remote work applications, interviews, and hiring expectations. Designed to be clear, encouraging, and actionable, it remains one of WWR’s most visited resources.
An employer-facing guide covering everything from writing better job posts to setting up inclusive onboarding practices for distributed teams. I wrote the guide and worked with dev on page structure and layout to ensure it was both strategic and skimmable, aligning with the needs of busy hiring managers.
Content Design:
The Remote Show — Live
We Work Remotely • Podcast Brand Extension (2020)
To support the launch of The Remote Show: Live, I created a distinct yet cohesive sub-brand that could flex across YouTube thumbnails, social media teasers, and event promo graphics. The challenge was to visually signal “live conversation” and dynamic content, while maintaining alignment with The Remote Show and WWR’s overall identity.
Instagram Campaign: Empathy & Togetherness During COVID
We Work Remotely • 2020
At the height of the pandemic, I led an Instagram-focused campaign that centered empathy, solidarity, and the emotional realities of remote work. With simple, bold graphics carrying messages like “WFH burnout is real” and “Togetherness,” the series acknowledged collective challenges while gently advocating for the long-term benefits of remote work. It helped position WWR as a calm, human-centered voice in a moment of global uncertainty.
Social Media Graphics – Selling the Value of Remote Work
We Work Remotely • 2019-2021
Below are a selection of social media graphics I designed over time for We Work Remotely. These visuals highlight different aspects of remote work - flexibility, productivity, well-being, and future-forward thinking - crafted to resonate with both job seekers and employers. Each piece is part of a broader effort to build trust, drive engagement, and advocate for the remote work movement.
